Job Opening: Attendant Care Provider, Health Department
Harper County Health Department is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Attendant Care Provider. This position provides support and performance of essential basic tasks including (but not limited to):
Household – cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation and errands.
Personal Care – bathing, grooming, skin care with lotions and/or powder, foot care, ear care, dressing, feeding, assistance with elimination, assistance with ambulation/transfers, changing position in bed, and accompany to obtain necessary medical services.
Non-Medical Care – Assist with medications by opening containers and reminding client to take their medications, check and record vital signs, and other duties if approved by Registered Nurse.
Employees must be 18 years of age, or older, possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid Driver’s License. Experience in home health care or related field and a valid CNA preferred.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
Hiring Range is $13.00 - $14.63, actual rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
