Job Opening: Part Time Equipment Operators

Harper County Public Works (formerly the Road and Bridge Department) is hiring Part Time Heavy & Light Equipment Operators.  People filling these positions will not be expected to work a regular Monday – Friday schedule, but will be authorized to work partial days, evenings and weekends, if preferred.

The established hourly rate for these positions is $14.76 – $23.00 with a $1.00 per hour increase for CDL holders.  Actual rate is based on experience and skill level.  Experienced Operators only, please.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in a construction related setting.  Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.  Current CDL is preferred.

If scheduled an average of 20 hours per week, Part Time positions are eligible for health and dental insurance options, Life Insurance, and participation in the KPERS retirement plan.
