Job Opening: Community Development Director

Harper County is currently accepting applications for a Community Development Director.  

The Community Development Director is responsible for attracting new business and encouraging the expansion and retention of existing businesses to promote a strong economic base, as well as promoting Harper County, developing educational resources to increase the workforce, and working with citizens on State programs, such as weatherization and ROZ.  

This position may be could be Full Time or Part Time, depending on the candidate.  Some evening and weekend hours will be required. 

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid non-restricted driver’s license.  A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.  

Hiring Range is set at $38,600.00 - $43,500.00, but negotiable based on experience.  Full Time employees are eligible for our benefit package.
