Job Opening: Director, Childcare Center
The Harper County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Facility Director to be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our Anthony and Attica Childcare Centers.
Responsibilities include ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, financial management, curriculum delivery, employee/student retention and achievement, parent/community relations, and strategic planning. The Director must also perform a variety of highly responsible, confidential and complex administrative duties including, but not limited to budgeting, marketing, book keeping/recording procedures, curriculum knowledge and employee relations.
The selected candidate must be able to successfully complete a thorough background check, drug screen, and training as required by KDHE.
Qualifications include:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
· Must possess either (both would be preferred):
o A Child Development Associate credential, or
o At least 1 year of experience in a licensed facility with infants and toddlers.
