Job Opening: Part Time Zoning Administrator

The Harper County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Zoning Administrator.  

Primary responsibilities include enforcing, interpreting, and managing local land use and zoning regulations. 

Key responsibilities include:

·        Evaluation and review of building permits, site plans, and plats

·        Code enforcement

·        Interpretation of zoning regulations

·        Conducting meetings and public hearings

·        Policy recommendations

This is a detailed position requiring excellent customer service skills. Candidates must be detail oriented, willing to investigate and research local and state-wide zoning regulations, possess good time management and organizational skills, and be able to multitask.
